Acceptable Use Policy

Real people need consent

• Use an image, video or voice of a real person only if you are that person or have their permission for this use.
• Keep a record of that consent. If someone complains, we may ask you to show it and suspend the account until you do.
• Do not use real people under 18, even with permission.
• Do not use public figures, such as politicians, celebrities or athletes, unless you hold their written permission.

What you may not create

• Sexual or nude content of anyone, and any sexualized depiction of a minor.
• Content that puts a real person in a scene, act or statement they did not agree to, including face swaps without the consent of everyone involved.
• Deceptive content meant to pass as real footage: fake news, election misinformation, fake endorsements, or impersonation for fraud or scams.
• Harassment, threats, bullying, or content that demeans people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
• Realistic gore, or content that shows, encourages or instructs self-harm or suicide.
• Terrorist or violent extremist content, and instructions for making weapons, explosives or illegal drugs.
• Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, or that breaks any law that applies to you.

Label realistic AI video

When you publish a realistic video of a real person, say that it was made with AI wherever the law or the platform you publish on requires it, and never remove or hide such a label to deceive.

Using the service fairly

• Do not try to get around our checks, the models' safety systems, rate limits or billing.
• Do not attack, overload or probe the service, or use it to distribute malware.
• Do not sell or share API keys outside your organization.

Enforcement

We may refuse a request, remove access to an output, suspend a key or close an account that breaks this policy, and report illegal content to the authorities. Repeated or serious breaches lead to closure.

Report misuse

If you believe a video made with OnlySeedance shows you without your consent or breaks this policy, email [email protected] with a link or the file and we will look into it.
